B.A. (Bruce) Barnett

Bruce Alan Barnett was born in Camrose, Alberta in July 1962. He graduated from St. Joseph Composite High in Edmonton in 1980; obtained an Honours Diploma in Survey Technology from NAIT in 1983; and a B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1987.

Articles were served under Mr. A.F. Martin, ALS and Mr. D.A. Martin, ALS from 1989 to 1995. The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was "Reconstructing 'in Situ' Reservoir Deformations Using Precise Levelling Techniques." Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was received on July 25, 1995. Bruce holds the CLS and P.Eng designations, is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and is an executive member with Toastmasters.

Experience includes land surveys, engineering surveys, control surveys (horizontal and vertical), deformation monitoring projects, and composing software.

Hobbies include reading, camping and playing guitar.
