D.J. (Doug) Rutherford

Doug Rutherford was born in Calgary in August 1967. He graduated from Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School in Red Deer in 1985. A degree in Surveying Engineering was received from the University of Calgary in 1982.

Articles were served under W.L. (Bill) Edgerton, ALS, Dirk H. VandenBrink, ALS. The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was “An Analysis of the Dickson Dam Horizontal Deformation Network."

Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was received on June 8, 1998.

Doug is presently employed by Snell & Oslund Surveys (1979) Ltd. in Red Deer. Surveying experience is primarily oilfield, subdivision, and construction.

Hobbies include camping, mountain biking and playing the guitar.
