E.R. (Ed) Salmon

Ed Salmon was born in the province of Ontario in June 1962. He graduated with a B.Sc. from the University of Calgary in 1997.

Articles were served under Roger Ross, ALS. “A Review of the Role of the Province of Alberta, Alberta Land Surveyors and Municipalities in the Development of the Alberta Survey Control Framework (present and future considerations)” was the topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination.

Ed received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on August 18, 2004. Surveying experience is mainly in the municipal and industrial fields.

Ed also is the treasurer of the Fort McMurray Rowing Club and a member of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board. Other interests include rowing and teaching courses at Keyano College in Fort McMurray.
