  • Attended high school in Rycroft and graduated from Fairview High School in 1966
  • Attended NAIT (Survey Technology) 1967-1969
  • Began surveying career in summer of 1964 on Great Slave Lake Railway and surveyed throughout Alberta and Northwest Territories since spent 1972 to 1974 surveying in Florida
  • Articled to L.O. Olsen, ALS from 1970 to 1971
  • Articled to D.E. Barnett, ALS from 1977 to 1978
  • Obtained ALS commission in September 1978
  • Member of Canadian Institute of Surveying and Mapping
  • Served on Legislative Committee from 1979 to present
  • Owned and operated Key North Surveys Ltd.
