G. (George) Vaselenak

George Vaselenak was born in Lethbridge in 1934 and attended St. Joseph’s High School in Lethbridge.

He articled to H.W. Brown and Tak Okamura and received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on June 15, 1970.

Mr. Vaselenak was involved in all aspects of legal surveys covering southern Alberta. He was involved in control surveys, subdivisions, rights-of-way, roads and construction surveys.

He was a Lethbridge Little League coach for many years, leading to coaching the Norcrest All Stars in the Canadian Little League Championship in 1980. He was a scout for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1975-1977 and a scout for the Cincinnati Reds when he passed away on May 11, 1983.
