J.A.U. (Jack) Gregg

John Alexander Ussher (Jack) Gregg was born in Liverpool, England in 1934.

He graduated from Orillia Collegiate Institute in Orillia, Ontario in 1954 and graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 1958 with a B.Sc. in civil engineering.

After serving articles to Con Duemler, he was registered as an Alberta Land Surveyor on June 9, 1971.

He worked for Duemler, Kiriak & Associates as well as the federal Department of Transport and Department of Indian Affairs. While there, he was involved in community development, housing, buildings, roads, services and housing subdivisions on reserves.

In 1978, Jack Gregg was employed at NAIT as a survey instructor, working alongside Doug Barnett and Ken Berg.

Mr. Gregg retired as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 1996.
