J.C. (Jim) Sharpe

Jim Sharpe was born in May 27, 1956. He graduated from North Lambton Secondary School in Ontario in 1974. A Survey Technician Diploma was received from the Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology and from there Jim went on to attend the University of Calgary, receiving a B.Sc. in Engineering in 1991.

Articles were served under L.A. Cridland, ALS. Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was granted on April 19, 1996.

The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying exam was "The Impact of the Global Positioning System on the Cadastral Survey Profession."

Other interests include coaching littIe league baseball, camping, hiking, skiing and windsurfing.
