J.S. (Scott) Brooks

Scott Brooks was born in Brandon, Manitoba in March 1970. He attended Vincent Massey High School in Brandon and went on to receive a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1993.

Bernie McKenna, ALS served as his principal from December 1995 to May 2002.

Surveying Well Sites Using RTK GPS was the topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination. Commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor was received on May 29, 2002.

He has been involved with parcel consolidation and subdivision survey in Manitoba, oil and gas surveys in Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Alberta.

Hobbies and other interests include endurance cycling, adventure racing, hockey, golf, classical and Spanish guitar, volunteering, and is a regular blood donor for the Canadian Blood Services.
