M.R. (Murray) Ingalls

Murray Ingalls was born in Calgary in September 1936 and attended high school in Kathryn, Alberta.

In 1958, he graduated from SAIT with a survey diploma. He immediately began working with Alberta Transportation where he remained until 1984. Mr. Ingalls articled to Morley Kolomyjec and received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on August 14, 1961.

In 1984, Murray Ingalls went to work for the Special Areas Board based in Hanna, Alberta. He remained employed with them for ten years and spent another ten years with them on an on call basis.

Mr. Ingalls served on the Association’s Historical & Biographical Committee and was an active member in the Hanna Kinsmen Club and Hanna minor hockey.
