Roger came to Alberta from London, Ontario He graduated from Sturgeon Composite High School in Namao in 1991, an upgrading program at BCIT in 2004 and from NAIT’s survey engineering program in 1994.

Don Grant, ALS served as his principal from August 2006 until he received his commission on March 25, 2009. Roger served on the ALSA Safety Committee from 2007 to 2009. He is also a member of ASSMT and ASET.

From 1994 to 1995, Roger was employed with Baerg Surveys Ltd. doing municipal surveys in the Stony Plain area. He again worked doing municipal surveys for Canadian Engineering & Surveys Inc. from 1995 to 2000 and from 2001-2002. In 2000, he was involved with LIDAR and aerial surveys and from 2002 to present, he was been employed by AMEC Land Surveys Limited doing road and highway surveys.

Since 1990, Roger has been involved with Canadian Forces Reserves currently employed with 41 Combat Engineer Regiment.
