  • Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and completed high school at Birch Hill, Saskatchewan
  • Attended the University of Saskatchewan, 1956-1957
  • Articled to George Heacock and Ross Tate from 1962 to 1966 and obtained his ALS in 1966
  • Served on ALSA Planning Committee from 1972 to 1976 and on the ALSA Legislative Committee in 1973
  • Coach and manager of Minor League Hockey.
  • Member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and vice-president of the Clover Bar Parents' Association.
