  • Employed as survey technologist, Alberta Transportation, 1956-1961 and 1963-1966 performing legal road surveys, foothill control and plan checking. External Aid, Federal Government 1962, land reform Belize (British Honduras)
  • In private practice with Canadian Engineering Surveys Co Ltd, 1966-1984 and with Challenger Surveys and Services Ltd, 1984-2004
  • Served ALSA as: Auditor, 1971-1973, Legislation Group Member 1971-1972, Special Committee-The Survey System Member 1974-1975, Public Relations Group Member, 1984-1987, Consulting Practice Group Member 1984-1985, Systems & Procedures Group Member 1985-1986, Councillor 1985-1987, ALSA representative on CCLS 1987-1992, Association Finances Ad Hoc Committee Chairman.
