A. (Arthur) Gill

Arthur Gill was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta in May 1965. He graduated from Medicine Hat High School in 1983 and went on to receive a Survey Diploma from NAIT and a B.Sc. in Surveying Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1991.

W.L. Edgerton served as Arthur's principal from November 1996 to March 2001. The topic of the technical report submitted as part of the qualifying examination was Posting A Subdivision Using Real Time Kinematic GPS (RTK). Arthur received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on March 27, 2001.

Arthur worked for McElhanney Land Surveyors from 1991 to 1995 and presently is employed by HIW Surveys Ltd. and works in a variety of areas.

Leisure activities include making wine, camping, fishing and golf.
