F.E.J. (Fred) Johnson

Fred Johnson was born in Cypress River, Manitoba in 1945. He graduated from Edson High School in 1962 and from SAIT in survey technology in 1964.

Mr. Johnson articled to Alex Hittel from 1973 to 1977 and earned his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on June 24, 1977.

His surveying experience included two years with the Hydrographic Service in Ottawa and Australia and a year with International Nickle doing underground surveys. In 1967, Fred Johnson joined Shell Canada doing seismic surveys and legal surveys. He then joined their land department. Mr. Johnson was also a licensed land agent.
