L.W. (LeMont) Edwards

LeMont Edwards came to Alberta from Newfoundland. He graduated from Lewisporte Integrated Collegiate in 1979 and went on to receive a B.Sc. in Geomatics from the University of New Brunswick in 2005.

Hugo Engler, ALS served as LeMont’s principal from August 2005 to September 2008. LeMont was commissioned as an Alberta Land Surveyor on September 25, 2008.

LeMont served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an artillery surveyor from 1986 to 1990 and worked on mapping and charting from 1990 to 1995.

LeMont worked for a land surveying firm in Brandon, Manitoba from 1998 to 2001 and during the summer months while he attended the University of New Brunswick. He is currently employed with MMM Geomatics Alberta Ltd.
