Thomas Attwood Davies came to Edmonton about 1907 and, for many years, was an Alberta Land Surveyor and Dominion Land Surveyor. He left about 1917 for Ottawa and had been in the Department of the Interior.

Mr. Davies was the son of the late Sir Louis Davies, who was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.

In 1931, Mr. Davies underwent a serious operation. He was unable to shake off the effects and succumbed some ten days later. He was 50 years old.
