W.R.K. Coulthard

William Robert Kenneth Coulthard was born in Margaret, Manitoba in 1923. He attended Brandon Collegiate and graduated from the University of Manitoba where he received a BSc in civil engineering in 1950.

After articling to J.A. Lamb from 1956 to 1959, he obtained his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor on February 1, 1959. He continued to work for Strong Lamb & Nelson until 1970 and then established Coulthard & Associates in 1973 in Grande Prairie.

He was involved with the Shriners and the Masonic Lodges. He and his wife, Frances, had ten children.

He passed away on December 22, 1984 near Demmitt, Alberta at the age of 61 years.
