It ran along 9th Avenue and east to Fort Calgary. During the survey and at a ceremony at Fort Calgary the Steele Scouts, The RCMP (Then NWMP) and various historic figures and dignitaries including premier Klein appeared. The survey crews also had to negotiate safe passage with the Tsuut’ina Nation. A video of the historic and entertaining event is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CIiaqH_pZQ
