Altimeter, E.R. Watts & Son

Description:
Brass altimeter, 8 cm in diameter x 3 cm depth with a glass cover. The instrument has a 1.5 diameter, brass, thumb screw sticking out of the top by 2 cm and a small swivel magnifing glass attached to the side. There is a brass ring attached to the housing holding the brass screw.
There are various numerical dials and one needle that piviots from the centre of the instrument.
The script lettering indicates ” Surveying Aneroid Compensated” and the block lettering indicates “E.R.WATTS & SON LONDON, ENG. OTTAWA & WINNIPEG. ASCENT”.
