Commentary:
The MA 100 uses infrared light frequency to measure distances. Unlike previous tellurometers only one instrument was required as a reflector was used to return the infrared beam. It had an accuracy of +/-1.5mm +2ppm and a range of 2km.
It was used by Kinloch Underwood & Associates Ltd. for surveys in Alberta
