Commentary:
This TM-6 Sokkisha Theodolite is advertised as having enough accuray for triangulationand traverse work and is ideal to use with an EDM. It has a magnification of 30X and the circle reading is displayed to 6 seconds and can be estimated to 2 seconds. This theodolite has a metal label fixed to one of its sides with the inscription “SOKKISHA TM6” and with the serial number “8165” below it.
It comes with an orange-colored plastic carrying case with no other accessories.
It was used by Can-Am throughout Alberta for oilfield and legal surveys.
