Commentary:
There is hardly any information available on-line for the Red 2. It is puported to be lighter and more versitile than the Red 1. A black tilting mount enables the EDM to be mounted on the top of a theodolite
This EDM was used bt Can-Am Surveys Ltd. for survey work in Alberta
Two other numbers appear on the EDM. On top of the EDM: “SOKKISHA SF2 NO 211261 MADE IN JAPAN” and on the control face on back of EDM is shown “SOKKISHA 21620 RED2”
There is no manual with this EDM, however a manual is included with another Red 2 in the collection ALSA 2022.02.05.
