Commentary:
This Cooke, Troughton & Simms theodolite comes in a wooden carrying case. The s/n V036315 is etched on the theodolite.
In the wooden carrying case is a sun shade, a lens for sun shots (marked “Dark Head” “Diaphragm”), three adjusting pins, spare lens in an aluminum container attached to the case, and a counter weight.
