Commentary:
The HP-25 was introduced in 1975. It was referred to as Scientific Programmable. It had trigonometric and other functions used by surveyors and was programmable with 49 lines of memory. A limitation was that when the computer was turned off the program was lost and had to be reentered again when the computer was turned on. This pocket computer was used by Kinloch Underwood Associates Ltd. for land surveys in Alberta.
