Commentary:

The “MONROE 324G Scientist” is similiar to the Monroe 324 except in addition to degrees, it has the ability to support grads( John Wolff ). However both computers have a GRAD-DEG switch at the top left corner.

The 324G, as the 324, includes basic programming capabilities with two independent 80-step programs. The programs are entered from the keyboard. There is no provision for review or editing so If a mistake is made the process must be repeated from the beginning. The programs are stored in RAM and disappear when the machine is switched off.

Computer Design Corporation (Compucorp) manufactored this computer model, but it was rebranded and marketed under the Monroe name.

While this computer was small and light enough to carry to the field it was too large to be carried in ones pocket.

A battery changer (ALSA 2008.14.06.02), also donated by Brown, Okamura & Associates Ltd., is used to charge this computer.

This computer was used by Brown, Okamura & Associates Ltd a Lethbridge, Alberta survey firm.
