Commentary:
The computer was made by Everex Systems, Inc. The company was established in 1983 and headquartered in Fremont, California. In 1993 the company filed for bankruptcy.
The doner, Monroe Kinlock states that this was one of the first IBM DOS operating system computers used in the survey profession in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada area. It had an immense storage capacity of the day with 4 Mb RAM and a 40-megabyte hard drive. The computer was used by Kinloch Underwood & Associates Ltd. of Edmonton until 1988 for survey computations and company administration.
