Commentary:
The Wild N2 Engineers’ Level is described as a strongly built, accurate and reliable general-purpose instrument, which is easy to operate. It has a horizontal circle for setting out and measuring horizontal angles. The Wild N2 does not fit the description of a classic wye or dumpy level and it is not an automatic level. The telescope and the level support are made of a single casing. that and other features ensures it seldom needs adjustment.
On one side of the level etched in white letters are the words “WILD HEERBRUGG SWITZERLAND N2 88121”. On the opposite side of the instrument is a tilting mirror for directing the light to a bubble vial.
