- Accessories: The orange case includes two, silver-coloured keys, one small plastic container with three small fuses and one small Allen Wrench, and an adjustable three posted, greenish-coloured “FUJI-KOH SUNRAY” tribrach. This tribrach has a rotating clamp knob, an adjustable optical plummet and a “bulls eye” level bubble. The tribrach is made in Japan and is engraved “719”. A small label inside the tribrach is hard to read but the Serial number is “01633”.

Commentary:
This total station was part of the Geodimeter 600 System. It was introduced in 1994. The system covered three classes of total stations: the Geodimeter 610, 620 and 640 with the 610 being the basic system. Tracker and radio modules enabled the instrument to track a pole target automatically with the data acquisition controlled from the prism end. The memory system could hold up to 10,000 points. object.
Metal plaque on bottom of instrument indicates: “Geotronics, Made in Sweden, TYPE: GDM 610 571 202 002, SER. NO: 61012497”.
Orange Total Station (TS) with black knobs, eye piece, keys and lens shroud is approximately 35 cm (h) X 20 cm (t) (including eye piece and key pad) X 20 cm (w) including black knobs.
The bottom has a rotating mount for inserting into tribrach. This mount has a power adapter on one side of it. Top has a plastic “D” shaped carrying handle. One side has the Geodimeter symbol and two black knobs for adjusting the vertical and horizontal motions. The other side has the Geodimeter symbol and the word “Geodimeter”. The front has a small compartment affixed with four screws along with a rubber “measure button”. A “Stantec ….” label is attached to the front of the instrument. The rear has the keyboard and screen with the word “Geodimeter” affixed to this keyboard. A “Stantec” label is attached to the rear of the instrument. A rotating or plunging scope has on one side, a black adjustable eyepiece and the word “Geodimeter”. The other side has a black lens with shroud, the word “Geodimeter” and a Geodimeter symbol, and two rough sighting devices, one on the top and one on the bottom of the scope.
